Hotel Rosa is in Cavareno in high Val di Non.
Thanks to its location, it is easy to find entertainment suitable for the whole family both in summer and winter.
You can practice outdoor sports, have cultural visits or simply taste our traditional cuisine; moreover you can explore the natural landscape surrounding us… our villages, castles and places unaffected by the passing of time.

SPORT
During the winter season you can practice skiing and cross-country skiing and you can also have lovely walks in the woods with the “ciaspole”, the “well-known” snowshoes which are typical of our valley.
In spring and summer the skis are replaced with trekking boots and mountain bikes in order to discover the marvellous beauties of the nature of our valley.
Starting from the Sunny Ranch in Cavareno, horse riding along the paths of our valley will be an unforgettable experience in every season of the year.
For those who have a passion for golf, Hotel Rosa offers a special deal with the Dolomiti Golf Club, which is not far from our hotel. Both indoor and outdoor tennis courts are open all year round.

CULTURE
From Hotel Rosa it is easy to reach cultural places such as the Thun Castle, the sanctuary of San Romedio, the Rhaetic museum, plus small churches and typical hamlets.
It takes less than an hour to reach Merano, Bolzano and Trento, cities of our region rich in history and culture.

FOOD
After having tasted Renzo’s savoury dishes, it is possible to purchase the typical products of Val di Non such as speck (smoked meat), honey, cheese and apples in the shops of the area.

EXCURSIONS
Val di Non is also the valley of the Canyons; in fact the erosion of its waters has moulded the whole valley. With the help of skilled guides and proper equipment it is possible to discover a mysterious and fascinating world made of caves, tunnels, ravines and breathtaking gorges.
Leaving from our hotel, you can also discover other natural landscapes such as the waterfalls and the lake Tret, the lake Santa Giustina, the lake Tovel and mountain huts.

EVENTS
There is a long list of events taking place during the year in Val di Non: for instance, the “Ciaspolada” (race with snowshoes), the Charta della Regola, Quattro Ville in Fiore, Pomaria, Dragononesa.
